stressing over sports

Many things in a teenagers life can cause stressors and stress a teen out. The main topic of this blog is sport stressors. School and your social life is probably very important and at some points can cause stress there. Although some teens dont play a sport or are not physically active, there are many that juggle a sport or activity along with their busy life. Sports are very big comitments and can be a HUGE stressor. Along with practices everyday there comes games, improving, and less and less time. Playing a sport requires a lot of time. Most teens go to school, go to practice, probably eat dinner, maybe some other activity or event they have that night, take a shower and STILL fit in HOMEWORK! After that they finally lay their head down before the alarm goes off at 6 am, and before you know it your lossing more and more sleep and getting more and more homework. Another thing teens stress about is getting hurt or injured playing, that will take even more time and more to stress over. Being organized, getting school work done, and getting enough sleep can cause less stress during sports season. Playing a sport you love comes with comitment, time, effort, which than brings stress.
